I wonder which of the Mardi Cohen Jinglehimer Schmit style habitual runners will go for the position. Lord knows some of them (like Mardi) will run again, and again, and again, and …. Well, you get the point –

Hey idiot, this is an appointed seat not an open seat for candidates. No one can run in the seat for more than 2 years, and that would be against the appointed judge. Why not educate yourself before you pontificate on an anonymous blog comment? I’d say your ignorance is showing but we don’t know who you are anonymous.

While this may be of some interest to some people, the fact that an ASA is forging official documents should be the headline.

True?? Is there an investigation? Whose signature did she forge? That office is corrupt. Disgusting .

ASA Chandler Lefevere forged supervisor’s signature on memos and HP, Gina and Neva only handed down a suspension for a few days. She didn’t get canned! And HP should be very concerned because it got leaked that he didn’t want to do anything. Very very thin walls.

My source confirmed it as well and I’m not in the least bit surprised. They’re a bunch of sexual deviants down at that office. They just sleep around and have no ethics.

I heard they have a thing for the private defense bar, judges, and other offices as well. Bunch of sluts in that office.

I have multiple legitimate sources close to her who know for a fact that she has slept with a local prominent defense attorney. One who is married with kids.

What kind of memos did this supposedly happen on? What was the supposed reason? Who supposedly gained? And why?

Memos are needed when breakdowns occur

This is a testament to SAO archaic practices and the continued need for change and the difficulty to do what’s right still in that office

I bet she was changing charges and not sending people to prison

            Probably
Got caught because a breakdown case came back to bite her in the ass

I think she deserves the Gulkin not a firing

If ASA will go to these lengths to do what’s right I have zero issue with it

In the old days those “files” would disappear …..

No. On either side of the v., ethics and morals are still what lawyers swore to. You don’t like the office policies in your office? Find another office to work in. Forging signatures is something the Bar would take serious issue with a lawyer doing. And memos are a safeguard to make sure the public has access to documentation as to WHY something happened on a case that went against normal practice. Do not condone unethical ASAs, APDs, or private attorneys in an effort to do what is “right”. When you sacrifice your ethics and morals, you’re already doing what is not right.

Chandelier, that is exactly what happened. You just thought it was a done deal when you got a slap on your wrist.

I think it is time Governor DeSantis eradicates the systemic corruption at the SAO. The criminal acts of an ASA are being swept under the rug. And that is not the first instance that admin has covered up prosecutorial misconduct.

Why not charge it as aggressively as possible, squeeze a plea via a promise of a breakdown, with a supervisor cut and paste approval?

I thought transparency was the goal for prosecutors. How are we supposed to represent our clients efficiently when the prosecutors that are “enforcing,” the law are simultaneously “breaking” the law without consequence? It is time for Desantis to step in and replace HP with someone who has the proper moral compass for the job. I don’t know who chandler is or what she forged but I assure you if it were one of my low income clients there would be cuffs and an arrest without a second thought. Nobody is above the law.

“Well done”? That’s your comment? The prick couldn’t even hang in long enough to leave the seat open for an election and let the CITIZENS pick his replacement. He gave one last FUCK YOU to the people of Broward and is going to let DeSantis pick. And Bill’s comment is “well done”. Fuck off, Bill!

Are you surprised? Most judges, at least in Broward, don’t give a damn when they’ve maxed out financially. Its grab and run. That’s if they don’t have any additional psychological problems like visions of perpetual grandeur.

Why couldn’t he wait until the end of his term so that the voters could decide instead of our stupid governor. We don’t have enough federalists on the bench currently? Ugh

They caught her on camera in front of her daughter and they still didn’t prosecute this scuzball …

What a double standard this Chandler incident is. If she were not white and an ASA she would be investigated and fired. HP will always cover up the sins of his assistants at the expense of our people.

I’ve done this myself on many occasions, even though I know it’s a common mistake I need to watch out for.

The steps seem to go as follows (with typical thoughts in brackets):

Walk up to photocopier carrying sheet/book to copy.
Insert sheet. (“Which way round does this need to go?”)

Figure out the controls. (“How does this thing work again?”)

Stand for a while as lights flash and cogs whirr. (“Is it working? I hope it’s quick.”)

Copy comes out. (“Great. At last.”)

Grab copied paper and rush out of room, leaving the original in the copier.

Can anyone suggest a way that the photocopier could be designed to prevent users making this mistake?

A sign would seem to be the most obvious way, but the trouble is that the moment I need to read it is likely to be the moment I’m least inclined to stop and read anything.

Chandler should not be allowed to step foot in her office again. The dishonesty and criminal behavior undermine every principle of being a prosecutor. But then again, look at admin. They wouldn’t know integrity if it slapped them in the face. Admin didn’t even want to punish her. That says it all.

  10. 8

    1

While Chandler did wrong and will be punished, the most appalling part of this is that admin hesitated to do anything. That’s a much bigger problem. What else is being hidden Neva, Gina and HP? That’s the real issue.

HP, GINA, NEVA, MIGUEL HIDING EVERYTHING. EXAMPLE JAROD WAS FIRED…WHY, CAUSE HE WAS STEALING MONEY FROM THE SAO. SOMEHOW HP KEPT THAT QUIET. HP HIRWS HIS FRIENDS AND NOT QUALIFIED PEOPLE. JARED STOLE MONEY. HP ADMIN IS

This entire Chandler thing is insane. Every part of it. One thing is for sure. Whoever’s name she signed is a much kinder person than I am because I would have reported it to the police. If it’s who I think it is, I hope everyone supports her in this because she is truly an innocent victim caught up in a nasty web of SAO lies. This forgery very well could have negatively affected her reputation and career. So be good people and stand with her. She is also a very intelligent, stand up, ethical, well grounded and sincere person who would never hurt a fly. a

I hope this administration stands beside her in all of this. Can everyone just trying to stay focused on doing the right thing instead of trying to manipulate the optics?

Chandler wasn’t fired because she is balls deep in a State Rep that Harold needs
The world is gross and the good news is she is confirmed to be going to case filing where no signatures are needed

It all comes down to the voter blocks these tweezers have wrapped up in a heavily democratically corrupt county like Broward.

Why is it only ever SAO dirt on here ? Is this not an equal opportunity lynch mob blog ? Why is there no defense bar dirt on here. I’m not on either side but I’m just saying, David Wheeler was sleeping with two of his subordinates while married with kids. And then got one of those two people he was supervising pregnant. Seems a little more discussion worthy than memos. But whatever you guys want to talk about I’m down. I just love watching you all burn each other down. You’re all truly insufferable.

It doesn’t suprise me that Gordon runs his office that way. He looks like the slimiest attorney in the building.

Hahahahaha! When is the fact that he had a baby with his subordinate going to officially come out!?!? How long can the pd office overlook that shame?

Besides being the ultimate brown-noser and butt-kisser, he’s one of the smelliest creeps to work in the PD. I guess he’s never heard of deodorant. At least get your suit dry cleaned.
But the PD is desperate for new hires. Look what they have working there.

Why are they hemorrhaging people out the ass ? Haven’t a bunch of their employees left them for the State ??

Wheeler is gross. I guess he’s got to get it where he can, but you’ve got to be pretty hard up to sleep with that guy !

I think we can all agree this is one of the crazier days we’ve ever had in this little watering hole.
